10.29 Final Finale
Riley wasn't interested in one guy for the rest of her life. Something about the secretive ways for her father pushed her away from a happy nuclear family. Riley liked the hunt.
During the day, Jeffry and she were inseparable. During the night, Riley partied with the best. She didn't aspire to be tied down like Liam, Gabby, and Taylor. Someone had to break their cycle.
However, it wouldn't be Riley. Somewhere between her random late night callings and her daily swag sessions with the maid she had caught the same bug her siblings had.
It was the best birthday surprise for Portland.
Parker knew his days were numbered. There really was a feeling in your bones. Parker didn't rush around to tie up loose ends. He was happy. In his last days, he wondered if his mother or father were this content with their life. He finally understood the choices they made. He was no longer bitter towards them, he was grateful.
Parker felt the grim sneaking on him. Just as Parker himself had once snuck around.
He was ready. He was willing.
He closed his eyes one last time. His children were finally safe from the dangers he spent his life protecting them from.
The End
