Regardless of how many guys Madison had in her life, her children were always number one. Something that Madison felt her mom neglected to realize until it was too late. So when it came time from Keira's big birthday, Madison made sure that both her children and left the evening free. As a family, they welcomed Keira to "big girl hood."
Keira had long since grown out of her "Meiling" phase. Instead of aspiring to be her sister, Keira decided to pursue the creative interests of cooking. After, someone had to keep the house fed.
Meiling reminded Madison a lot of herself. Meiling was the social butterfly and possibly the biggest flirt of the family. She enjoyed photography and acting, a new mix in the family.
But just as all good things come to an end, so does one's happy childhood and carefree lifestyle. As Gavin stepped towards the cake, he knew his life was about to change.

Where Madison had been Miss Social, Gavin was the class reject. Where Brandon was athletic and brave, Gavin was the biggest couch potato Madison had ever met. Regardless of his odd ball genetics, he was a good kid, and he often provided very elegantly written short stories which entertained his family 
for hours.
