Unlike Lexi's relationship Devin, there was no avoiding the everyday contact with Weston. Luckily for Lexi, she didn't feel the same kind of attachment for Weston as she felt for Devin. So the everyday contact didn't necessarily hurt her.

Lexi's parent's could feel their age settling in. Joseph, their only grandchild, was currently growing quickly, and Lexi had not graced them with any grandchildren. MaKenzie and Logan reminded Lexi of this everyday. Lexi was very career driven, and even with their constant nagging, refused to have any children what-so-ever.

Lexi instead, sent out her demo discs to many of the CEO's she knew. Although she loved the band very much, it was time for her to move on.

Lexi would check the mail every day waiting for something to come back. Some lead. Some hope. Everyday she came home to an empty mail box and her heart sank a little more.
