7.13 Farewell

The twins were self starters, so it did not surprise Noah when they both came home with jobs at the bookstore. The only thing Noah did like about it was their mother worked there also. Their jobs filled most of their day, so many days they would do homework together.

Once the girls became teens, Noah felt increasing protective of his baby girls. He felt he had raised two very productive, mature daughters. Anastasia told him to trust them.

Noah found it hard to trust them with Dean coming around. Yes, he has went to school with them, but he had long since graduated an moved to pushing paper in Noah's office building.

When Addison wasn't stressing her father out by running around with Dean, Brooke was busy hanging out in the junk yard after curfew. At least she said she was hanging out in the junk yard. However, Noah found it suspicious that the same officer brought her home every night.
Gavin spent hours alone during the day. After all, there comes a time when everyone you knew growing up was gone. The house was quiet with the family gone. He used this time to catch up on his new favorite cartoons or to play video games. Even though he was alone, he never really felt alone.

Noah was usually the first home. He walked in at 2:09 promptly, four days a week. A glance at his watch and Gavin knew Noah was about to walk in the door. Gavin stood up to meet his son at the door. As soon as his feet touched the ground, Gavin knew it was time.

Gavin knew he was blessed. So far he had lived longer than anyone in his family. He had saw his granddaughters grow into beautiful young ladies. It was time to go. Besides, he missed his wife terribly. He walked over to the grim, and instead of begging for his life, he welcomed the transition.

((Gavin lived to be 109 days old. He is the oldest sim I've ever had, and the only one that shook the grims hand instead of begging for his life. I'm not sure if I'll move him to the graveyard... I'll see how annoying his ghost is. ))
