8.3 Separation

"Addison, open the door!" Brooke screamed at the bathroom door, "I'm going to be late!"
Brooke was thankful that when her great grandmother built the house she equipped it with two bathrooms. She quickly ran to the other one to finish getting ready.

Addison kneeled over the toilet with hundreds of thoughts running threw her head. She could not be pregnant. She just couldn't. She stared down into the toilet at what was left of her dinner. Even though she prayed it was just alcohol, she knew better.

Brooke came home from seminar to find her sisters room void of all her belongings. "Addison?" She called through the house. "Mom, where's Addison? I have something for her." Anastasia shook her head.

"She moved baby," Noah called from the den. "We just finished signing the papers on her house. It's over on Sunnyside Blvd. You'll love it!"

Brooke felt alone. She knew her sister would leave eventually, but she wasn't ready for it. Not to mention she didn't get to say goodbye. Brooke spent the rest of the day moving into her grandmother's room. She completely remade the room, changing it to fit her wants. And even though she wasn't tired when she finished, she laid down and tried to sleep.
