7.15 Forgotten

Brooke knew tomorrow was going to be a great day. It was her birthday and her last day at school. She had plans to go to the movies with Jodi and celebrate at PURE afterward. She might regret it the next day, but her coming of age birthday party was going to be epic!

In the distance she heard the sounding of alarms. She wasn't sure why, but she knew she had to take cover. Brooke stopped running and looked around. She could see her room. She knew she had been dreaming but the alarm seemed so real. And she could still hear it.

She threw her blankets off her and raced towards the alarm, toward the living room.

From the foyer she heard loud yelling and entered to see her father cornering a burglar. Brooke was slightly relieved. It wasn't the end of the world, but a new fear set in. The fear of being unsafe.
"Police," Brooke heard a familiar voice shout from outside the door. SGT Harder. He'd only picked her up from the junk yard at least a hundred times. And although all he did was bring her home, Brooke couldn't help but wonder how he was the only officer that found her.

There was a short fight, in which he won. Addison panicked, feeling the same fears as her sister. Luckily nothing was taken.

Brooke knew she wasn't going to go back to bed, but she knew she had to try. It was a rough sleep. Complete with her running from something unknown. Finally her alarm sounded, a signal it was time to get up. A sign that it was her birthday!

She joined her father and sister in their morning discussion about last nights Brothers episode. Brooke felt empty. Her father hadn't wished her a happy birthday as he rushed to change for work.

But her day wouldn't get better, as Jodi texted her before school to tell her something came up. That she couldn't make the movies tonight. "Keep your head up," Addison told her before rushing off to her first class.
Later that day, at home, Noah gracefully grew into an elder and retired as a Star News Anchor.
He was excited to spend time with his aging wife.

Instead of going home, Brooke took a detour to the family graveyard, where Gavin's body had been moved after a few nasty hauntings. She wanted to spend time with him, to talk to him about her father forgetting her birthday. Grandpa Gavin never did.

Brooke's obnoxious ringtone broke the silence of the graveyard. "Brooke are you coming home? Dad's worried." Addison said over the other line. "Yeah, I'm on my way." Brooke replied, hanging up the phone before Addison could get another word out.

Beep Beep, Addison heard the sound of Brooke's car locking. "SHHHH, she's here!" Addison exclaimed. The party around her quieted as Addison yelled up front, "Brooke help me, this damn picture is falling." Brooke rolled her eyes, her sister was clumsy, and this wasn't the first time a painting had fallen from the easel onto her.

Instead of making her way to the front door, Brooke walked around back. Immediately seeing SGT Harder, her mother, and Dean, her sister's secret boyfriend. "Surprise!" they yelled as Addison rushed her to the cake.

(((Both girls have completed the perfect childhood requirement. And even though I don't think I have blogged about each party each week, I have recorded them and they are complete (it was mostly birthdays). Consider Gen 7 finished.

I rolled 1 so Brooke is heir. I was excited about that at first until I realized I rolled childless. But I'm a stickler for keeping the genes in the family so Addison will the be mother. Brooke's job will be in the architect career and I am excited to FINALLY get to play a ambitions career. Second career is Busker. Proper Mongoul and No strangers. Neither of which provide a challenge to me but I think I am going to put all focus into her career.

Gavin has since been sent to the family grave yard for annoying me. If he would just go to his grave during the day, he could have stayed. ))
